Bildungscampus Berresgasse

The Campus+ is a current type of an educational institution uniting over 1,000 children and adolescents from 0-14 years under one roof. It is an integrating institution operating full-day and year-round.

The project translates the educational Program from KIGA and VS, and also the educational objectives of the NMS consistently in space. Beginning with Bildungscampus Sonnwendviertel, the further developed Cluster / BIBER cope with amounts of students by dividing them into well-arranged groups and providing them with stimulating learning and living space. It is all about usable space. Pure traffic area no longer exists. The area of the learning landscape is decentralized and flexibly assigned.

The special classrooms of all educational institutes shape the centre of the Campus. Thematic workshops form the core where all the children, youth and adults meet.

City planning

The Campus is oriented with its main entrance to the new, emerging quarter. It is connected with the Berresgasse via the Western Boulevard, which is co-used as safe for traffic extension of the Campus. Here is a seamless connection between in the west bordering residential quarter and the Campus, with all the synergies and positive points of contact. The entrance is covered generously. Both bays of the forecourt are connected via the foyer. The remedial classes are directly accessible from the Boulevard.
